Do not think for 1 second that because someone is a 5fold ministry gift they are living clean before God. It is a gift and I have seen people living dirty flowing in gifts before. For instance you can be a true prophet but have false character. Often times you can tell how the leader is by the way the congregation acts. If the leader is a gossiper it will trickle to the people and they will receive in one degree or another that same character trait ( always remember gossip is still gossip even if your in leadership). In America we have the misconception that fruit inspection is how many bodies are healed, people saved etc etc etc. For one give me chapter and verse that that is what fruit God is looking at. Secondly when the Bible talks about fruit does it not talk more so on a personal level of good character and conduct produced by the Holy Ghost. Friends I know people who are great soul winners but are as mean as a rattlesnake off the stage. You have got to have the character and conduct of Jesus. You must produce fruit that Christ is living in you. Friends you have to be inline with good leadership so you yourself take on good characteristics. God loves you but many people on the day of judgment are going to use their ministry credentials only to find out God is not looking at what you have done for Him rather He is looking at how much you resemble Him. You can cast out devils and go to hell. You can speak in tongues and not make heaven. You can heal the sick and not make it. God is looking at His Son being reproduced on the inside of you. This is why I always honor the office in someones life (it is a gift from heaven) but i take time in discerning the character of the person. There are many important variables that play into this. They are all found in Gods Word. So ponder on this and study it out for yourself.
