Do not trust the fake stories posted against Apollo Hospitals Dhaka A certain group of dishonest people with distorted mental get-up is taking advantage of cyber space to malign Apollo Hospitals Dhaka with fake overblown story. This is being carried out in facebook or different blogs to undermine the reputation of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka in the eyes of unaware trusting social media users who are falling into the trap of believing those false stories. We have identified those people and have contacted them asking why they are making fake stories publishing fake hospital bills removing patients ID in Photoshop? All of them are avoiding us and are resorting to this underhand social media onslaught. One recent blog made fake story against Apollo with make-believe child patient with the bill published where patient’s identity was erased by Photoshop technique. We investigated this from our finance department by matching the bill details, we found out the bill belongs to a 24 years old male living in Dhaka, for whom with all clinical detail in the treatment report, all the investigations done were justified. If the patient was genuinely maltreated, then this blogger would not have hidden the patient’s identity. Apollo authorities have always asked this group to show legal evidence about their claim but they avoided this call as they don’t have any proof! Have we ever thought what amount of foreign currency is saved by providing international standard treatment in our own country and stopping Bangladeshi patients migrating to foreign country? Do we know what harassment and maltreatment Bangladeshi patients are facing in hospitals aboard? We should of course highlight hospital limitations to hospital authority to improve their service but we should not discourage the hospital by publishing false stories. On behalf of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka it is a humble request to all of you to never believe these fake stories unless real patients identity is disclosed and the issue is verified by the hospital authority. Please come to our hospital and receive our hospitality to verify the quality of our service. Thank You.
