It will be held Sunday April 27th at 9am at Thoroughbred Training Center, 3380 Paris Pike, Lexington, Kentucky 40511-just 8 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park. Meet at Barn 30. Join Hall of Fame jockey Chris McCarron and his North American Racing Academy students at the Thoroughbred Training Center for a behind the scenes tour of life at the track. The tour will include visiting the backside barn area with Chris McCarron, demonstrations from NARA students both on and off the track, and an open discussion on Thoroughbreds and track life. Doughnuts will be included. No word yet as to whether Chris will do a repeat performance of the show he put on during our RRTP Thoroughbred Makeover last fall, where he rode Horse Creek Thoroughbredss OTTB Automobile first in racing tack during his Ride Like a Jockey demo and then came back a few hours later in western tack and chased cattle while competing in an all-OTTB team sorting event. They have cows in Kentucky, right? ;)
