Step right up for a kit of Gaspods.A note from Test Team Member: 2002 Ford F150 I have installed the gas pods on my 2002 F150 with no noticeable change in fuel consumption. I have tried various changes to the bed, with cover and without cover, tailgate up - down - and removed. The best mileage was with the tailgate removed, bed cover off and gas pods installed. 16.3 mpg. However I have been trying them on different vehicles and have seen big changes. I rented a 2014 Ford Edge for a trip and used the pods. With the pods i got 26.9 mpg and without 24.2. It wasnt a long term test a total of about 700 miles, but a clear improvement with the pods. They do work!
