Wednesday 26th November 2014 2.04am - NNL promo confirmed 2.05am - NHQ Manager from Partner Services team phones to congratulate 2.06am - NHQ Director texts to say he cant get through 2.38am - phone call ends! She goes to bed presumably! 2.40am - congrats message from a Distributor Board of Management (DBM) colleague goes onto Facebook 2.40am - text comes through from another DBM colleague 2.41am - Facebook erupts with messages galore 4.05am - starting to snooze but phone rings from GL (not in my group) screaming congrats! 4.10am - Facebook messages continue 5.35am - fall asleep 9.56am - wake up and realise I am 56 mins late for my PT session! 10.08am - doorbell rings. I assume its postman but look out bedroom window to check first. 10.08 and 5 seconds - frantically take off my Caribbean, not for public consumption, pyjama bottoms as I realise its not the postman. But tracksuit on and attempt to look more credible. 10.09am - answer the front door to Head of Distributor Communications Jonathan Goddard and Network Director Wayne Coupland, holding a bottle of champagne and wearing big smiles! 10.10am - invite them in and excuse various messy spots in my house! 10.11am - offer them a cup of tea, but then realise I only have almond milk. Try and sneak that in their tea. 10.12am - watch them start drinking, but looking uncomfortable at the taste! 10.50am - quick selfie with Jon and Wayne before they leave. 10.51am - they leave! 10.52am - I notice they have left half a cup each of tea! Rest of day - literally hundreds of calls. Apologies to all those who rang who havent heard back from me but for some reason the iphone only shows the last 50 missed calls and so I have not been able to acknowledge your call. Hundreds of emails, whatsapps, tweets and Facebook posts to start responding too! Calls from many members of NHQ staff at all levels - from Partner Services, from CSDA, from Managers...right up to Directors including Chairman Charles Wigoder, CEO Andrew Lindsay, Justin, Simon, Clifford, Jonny, David, Richard... The list goes on. I dont tell you this to impress you. I tell you it cos it impresses me! Its an incredible example of the Partners we have at NHQ and in amongst our Leaders. Very, very special people. So, do you know what youve got?!
