The top 1% of America has 40% of Americas wealth, and takes home 24% of national income. The bottom 80% (8 out of 10 people) only have 7% of the wealth. The top 1% have 50% of the nations stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. The bottom 50% of Americans only own 0.5% of the stocks, bonds, mutual funds, which means they arent investing, they are just scraping by. If you are tired of the rat race, this is why.
