Do you remember how the answering machine began to change the way we communicated by creating a waiting line of sorts for those who needed to speak with you. Initially this technology began for the business phone as a way of adding to client or customer service. Increase workflow and productivity for those who could keep up. Our home became the new business center, not places of rest, relaxation and freedom. The home just became another way of increasing your human encounters in a day, and by doing so came with a longer list of to dos for you to acknowledge by returning calls --- awesome, amazing, right? I remember my parents saying, if want to talk to you or someone else I will be there, and if I need to talk to you, I will call you... Initially I believed that they were simply just unsociable. And in reality they really werent. They saw it as an interruption in their day. Now this next video is from my TED source. TED is full of great thinking presentations. This video really has nothing to do with answering machines directly, but it does show you how we are working at how to do more.... Not new, simply an answer to higher profitability. Finding ways to Move and Talk is our response to the effects of the disease of technology as the video reveals. I may be oversimplifying it. And for some they won’t care or see any connection. So is the idea to do more to provide even greater benefits - YES... The walking and talking meeting as illustrated in the video will come with all kinds of challenges which will result with even more technology advancing helpers to provide in this case the obvious - Better Business Results & Better Health Results... So stay tuned as we shift an entire society to accomplish this --- more for more ;). As of today I have reached out to my 4th CEO personally in this Health/Fitness/Wellness/Medical/Business space at a critical time with the purpose of providing an additional dimension to this space. I am specifically looking to join and advance their business model. With 40 years directly in this business space it will surely be a great deal of fun. My tenancy as an innovator (I say this humbly and really my Blessing and Gift) is to be today where we will all be tomorrow. The CEO’s that I am interviewing must come with an Hypothesis which needs to match Reality... Having experienced the opposite as brought with it wisdom in this next step of my work ;) Moving Desk, Moving Meetings, What’s next? This is such a cool time. Try the walking meeting.
