Does anyone find it interesting the Obama want Immigration reform BEFORE the new Congress is sworn in? He says he will take all legal steps to get immigration reform in place before the end of the year. It is rumored that John Boehner, the current Speaker of the House, has asked that Obama do nothing about immigration reform until after the first of the year; at that time they will have legislation on his desk for his signature. How many think that Obama will wait as he has been asked? Some of the bills stalled in the Senate have to do with tax reform, the XL Pipeline and other economic matters. Wouldnt it be more prudent to have jobs in place before passing immigration reform that will land millions of new citizens to the (hopefully) employment rolls? Obama has never been known for being prudent in either his words or his actions but this is one time he should seriously consider the ramifications of his actions.
