Does anyone here take Omega-3, and know where to find vegan friendly Omega-3 pills? Im going to head over to the Herb & Spice Wellness Shop tomorrow and scope it out. Before I went veg 8 or so years ago I use to take Omega-3 Fatty Acid pills (made from fish oil). I took them because a decent amount of men in my family (including my father, none of them fatal) have had heart attacks, and my doctor at the time suggested I take Omega-3 to help prevent such a case. Mind you my dad, uncle, etc. smoke/use to smoke, which I dont, and I eat a pretty healthy vegan diet and do a fair amount of physical activity, so Im not to worried, however its crossed my mind to start taking them again (a vegan version). A good friend told me it might enhance my energy levels as well. Any advice? Ive thought about going to my family doctor for advice, but he didnt care that I was vegan last time I went for a check up. Figured Id come here instead. Thanks!
