Does anyone know what a Sterno-Stove is?? Well we have many Homeless that will not take Shelter because they are very Proud People or because they believe that being Homeless is what they deserve, or for many other reasons. :( I am happy to say that we where able to give out Sterno-stoves with enough Sterno to last a bit so stay warm or heat meals, , and many frozen meals in mess-kits (yeah military Mess-kits LOL. Thanks to James Forsight, Mary Melloy and family for donating most of the Mess-Kits and Sterno kits), many home-made holiday meals and many frozen meals just because we had them and a lot of MREs, also donated. Most of us do not know what it means to these wonderful people to heat a meal or just to have a bit off heat since we all have it each and every day. Most of them move around a lot and never stay in one spot for long, but word reaches them where they can find a helping hand that will not judge. Well my Danny started to help Homeless Vets and other Homeless a long time ago when we where still in the Army down in El Paso TX. Once we got out, and moved to New Mexico he continued to help, and since he went on to his last Duty Station next to Our Lord, his Kids and I try to continue to help where we can. I want to thank all of our friends that are still very active in helping and also all our new helpers that see that there is a great need out there and our Homeless friend for spreading the word.
