Does anyone recall visiting the bakery that was on Park Street, between 12th and 13th? This would have been specifically in the late 50s to 60s at least. You would be given a sugar cookie, the size of which I have probably never seen since. This time of year, I traditionally bake a number of kinds of cookies. When it comes time for the sugar cookies, I often think back to that bakery and the sugar cookies. To this day, I have looked for a recipe that would duplicate those cookies. They were wonderful. Anyone else remember?
