Does anyone remember an Operations Specialist from the 1976-79 time frame named Langevin, I think his name was Dennis? About 15 years ago (which was 20 years after I served on the Hollister), I was contacted by a young lady who was searching for him. Seems that they were about to be married and she had bolted on their wedding night, and 20 years later, she was searching for him. After she contacted me, I recalled him telling this story while we were standing a quarterdeck watch together. She had his birthday, and I found his name and birthday in the Social Security Death index. I do not know anymore about Dennis or what became of him, and the young lady, who was then about 40, married someone else and I did not hear from her afterwards.
