Does anyone remember the memorial site a little ways back in the woods down in the valley that was a memorial to some local historical figure? A few friends used to ride bikes quite a way, then I think a short hike off the edge of the road to a sort of obscure location as a trail destination. It was called something very loosely like the L.W. Stinchcomb Memorial monument. Maybe just remotely like that. If no one knows in a day or two, Ill try a more thorough query than the Google search engine, as its fairly limited in comparison to a larger, multiple query-engine meta-search engine like webcrawler, momma, or info(dot)com (if I spell out the period symbol, it will elicit their large ad, lol). Anybody know the name of this memorial?
