Lastly, if we can spend millions of dollars relocating National Guard and the support staff it takes to guard the border from children being sent to the USA from South America, then why cant we spend a fraction of that amount and sent in operatives who backtrack to the source of the exodus and see who is organizing this underground railroad style departure from dangerous nations? Cant we engage the organizers and find suitable, safe locations and help them with using proper channels to get these kids to safe countries? The stupid drama at the border is 100% political theater because there are elections afoot and the Reality Show atmosphere of middle America digs the hell out of people behaving like lunatics. The weirder the better. Give Perry his own show. Just keep him the hell away from the rest of the country.
