Dog Attack At Beach Whilst starting out playfully, this dog attack quickly escalates. Luckily the dog is relatively new to the behavior and is very hesitant to commit.... this time. But if allowed to repeat this behavior the dog will quickly learn to latch on and do a lot more damage. The humans involved react in a very natural way, (like many animals in the wild) grouping together for safety with a dominant male heading the defence. Given the limited nature of what most people take to the beach with them they do a very good job of coordinating a defence using boots and shoes. It is the arrival of a stranger with her own dogs that actually causes the attack to end..... very lucky for the beach goers.
