Doing Good ACTS 10:38 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. In this summary of the earthly life of Jesus Christ, the first thing mentioned is that He went about doing good. What does the Bible mean when it speaks of doing good? Doing good must involve some type of giving: either of time or resources. How else can anyone do good? Look at some of the verses that instruct us to do good.
