Dollar General Robbery Suspect Sought Monday, May 5, 2014 On Sunday, May 4, 2014 at approximately 9:34 p.m., Lee County Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to the Dollar General located at 701 Gretchen Avenue S., Lehigh Acres, Florida, in reference to an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store brandishing a black handgun demanding money from the cash drawer. The victim complied handing the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male, 6 foot tall, thin build, black hair in dreads, wearing a tan shirt with red stripes, black pants, white tennis shoes, blue jacket with a hood, ski mask, and carrying a red bag in his hands. ***Surveillance photos are included in this press release*** If you recognize the suspect or know anything about this armed robbery, call the Lee County Sheriffs Office at 477-1000.
