Dominos Pizza asked me to Help to save kids lives. Donate with your order. But the lives it wants to save are not those of its underpaid employees (except to remind me to tip the driver for awesomeness, because the delivery charge is not a tip). It wants me to buy pizza and donate a dollar to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Me, that is. No mention that Dominos will match it, or otherwise make its own contribution. I can donate to St. Jude directly without buying pizza, of course, but then that would not help Dominos bottom line. I replied, If you really want to save kids lives, how about paying your employees a living wage? No response yet. Meanwhile, I support curing cancer AND a higher minimum wage. If Dominos dies in the process, it is a small price to pay.
