Donegal minor team boss Declan Bonner is hoping todays All Ireland semi-final against Dublin will be the first of many appearances at Croke Park for his players. Dublin may be favourites to reach the decider but Bonner feels that his side, with the Ulster league and championship titles tucked safely under their belts, can produce a big performance: This is where these lads want to be playing and I honestly believe that a number of them can eventually come through at senior level and play regularly at Croke Park, insists Bonner. Donegal were fully extended by Roscommon before getting through what proved a difficult quarter-final tie but Bonner is convinced the special Croke Park atmosphere will inspire his players. Skipper Niall Harley will have a key role at midfield, Lorcan Connor can pull the strings in attack and Ciaran Gillespie is a key figure in the Ulster champions defence. Dublin were pushed to the limit by Cork in their quarter-final but two-goal Chris Sallier emerged as a hero. Along with Con OCallaghan and Colm Basquel, he will form the cutting edge in the Dublin attack today.
