Dont Sell Out JAMAICA: Goat Island Jamaica, what a hot bed this is friends. Per the Jamaican Observer the Chinese have offered US $1.5 billion to purchase this parcel of land. What do they want this land for? A state-owned China Harbour Engineering Company wants to build a massive shipping port. The Government already set aside the Portland Bight Protected Area, the Goat Islands area and surrounding waters for the endangered species. The Jamaican government did an about face and now the area is being considered for development of this huge port. Hellshire Hills, Jamaica is the last remaining home of the critically endangered Jamaican Iguana. Ask Booms whose real name is Mr. Kenroy Williams, a young Jamaican who has devoted the past seven years of his life to protecting some of the rarest reptiles in the world, and the largest living land animal in the country; the critically endangered Jamaican iguana.
