Dont even try to educate someone on politics if youve never even studied economics. These two facets are forever intertwined. If you truly understood economics you would know that allocating and redistributing the money given to welfare constituents as well as termination of welfare itself will no more strengthen the economy than a stimulus package would. Ignorance on matters like these are what builds stereotypes and displaced anger resulting in blaming the poor themselves as if it is a crime to be poor, destitute, and helpless due to economic instability or the social inequalities that produce them.
