Dont forget that if you are looking for a puppy in about a months time, or know someone who might be, we have two gorgeous litters of four week old pups looking for homes. They belong to Maeve and Judy respectively (pictured here when they were both heavily pregnant) and we have a cross section of colours and appearances both male and female to suit every preference! Pictured are a cross ection of each litter, all of whom are looking for HOMES. We are starting to take bookings for them now, although they wont be ready to be homed until mid/late August after their vaccinations. These pups can only be booked in person at our KWWSPCA animal shelter (subject to a home check also) so please visit there if you are interested. The shelter, which is on the road from Athgarvan to Twomilehouse (just outside Newbridge), is open every day for visitors from 2.00pm to 4.00pm without the need for a prior appointment so please pop in whenever it suits during those hours. We do ask for a re-homing fee (€75 or €100 to include the future cost of neutering which is mandatory) to partly off-set the veterinary and other costs, and a home check will be required. Apologies for stating the obvious, but please bear in mind that puppies are a long-term commitment who will require a lot of basic training (toilet, lead etc) and that ideally there should be someone at home with them for most of the day when they are young.
