Dont know the statistic, so this is a guess. With all the chatter about all the people with cancellation notices and the numbers thrown around as being outrageous. I imagine that there have been nearly as many cancellations in most every year. That is a bogus use of statistics. Policies change every year. The whole process is a fundamental change to health care and we have needed it for generations. The emphasis has shifted from taking care of us when we get sick to encouraging us to keep ourselves from getting sick. It is difficult to change that focus. Liken it to trying to teach Health for 30 years to 15 year old healthy boys, who truly believe in invincibility. How many of our issues are preventable ?
