Dont worry about drop in oil prices, says economist Don’t be disturbed by the recent drop in oil prices to below US$80 per barrel says economist Ronald Ramkissoon. Instead, Mr. Ramkissoon said what we should be doing is discussing what the drop really means. Former Minister of Energy Conrad Enil shared the same sentiments but added that the region will be affected by the drop. However he singled out T&T, he said because we are not entirely an oil-based economy, we won’t feel the pinch too much. Mr. Enil said in future T&T should seek to export oil to countries that solely rely on our product.
