Dorothy Christine Hall went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2014 For the benefit of all I want to explain who this wonderful woman was if you are not sure. THIS IS A JULY 22 TRIBUTE TO THE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF DOROTHY AND GENE She was the tiny daughter of Donnie Johnson. She was the adored younger sister of Donna Johnson-Gaffaney and Diana Johnson-Wilson. She was a loved sister-in-law to Derek Wilson. She was the loving mother of Wendie Lappin-Castillo and the grandmother of Timothy and Cross Castillo. Each of these relationships was special and her loss is heart felt by them all. But to me she was Dorothy Johnson-Hall, my best friend, my girl friend, my companion, my mentor, my caretaker and I am most proud that she willing shared my family name of Hall. She chose to accept my stumbling proposal of marriage even though I was a bit surprised. For seven years six months and twenty two days she was my constant companion. My life has been like yours, a series of ups and downs except for these almost eight years (coming July 22, 2014). I give God the praise and glory for the utter joy and happiness she brought into my life. My love for her must only be exceeded by my devotion and love for Him. His gift of her to me is second only to His gift of his Son for my eternal salvation. She was kind, generous, compassionate, wise, insightful, loving, and genuinely placed others first. Last of all and most important to me as of July 22, 2006 Dorothy Christine HALL became the wife of Gene Hall. A fact of which I am most proud.
