Down Moab way this Wednesday? Time to tell Grand County to REJECT - TopicsExpress

Down Moab way this Wednesday? Time to tell Grand County to REJECT the proposals being put forth by Rob Bishop Process, which is nothing more than a LAND SWAP that facilitates turning Eastern Utah into a sacrifice zone. Part of the proposal seeks to turn Book Cliffs Road into a two-lane highway connecting to the tar sands highway that is Seep Ridge Road (in Uintah County), leading directly to US Oil Sands front door. This road would connect the destructive tar sands projects to a proposed refinery on the Green River, effectively turning the region into one more toxic energy colony. Time to say NO. No to the Bishop Process, no to the Book Cliffs Highway, no to the tar sands, and no to turning a blind eye as part of our bio-region is destroyed. No compromises, no deals.
