Dr. Abdurrahman Alsomait, a Kuwaiti physician who had spent more than 29 years in Africa died 12 days ago. He had spent his these years in relief work, taking his whole family to help him and to appreciate what they were blessed with. It was reported that more than a staggering 11 million natives have reverted to Islam through him. When you hear him talk about his journeys, time stops and you live in a different world. He only went back to Kuwait to receive medical attention or to visit his family. Though being diabetic and going through a number of different strokes and pains in his back and legs, he continued without caring for his health. He suffered from kidney failure and died less than couple of weeks ago. Such giants make us feel small. There is a huge difference between those who live only for themselves and those who live for a greater and a nobler cause. Which one are you?
