Dr Malaysialove (How We Learnt to Stop Thinking and Feel the Constitution) Part I You first need a name And a body So we gave you a name Malaysia And we described what your body parts be We bestowed upon you Malaysia Article 1 Yes Your name shalt not change Malaysia Unless two-thirds of us agree But we shalt recognise your ability To summarily Evolve through evolution Or revolution And increase the parts of your body Or even redraw where your body parts be But not to decrease Summarily The parts that make up your body For that is a mutation That will kill you We bestow upon you Malaysia That power in Article 2 You need a religion Malaysia Like a body does Even if your peoples religion Is to have no religion They can practice that in peace We can all be in harmony Because we know Religiously having no religion Is a religion too Your religion therefore Malaysia Is Islam Everything hereafter Is done in the name of Islam You were always meant to be A spiritual entity But just so you dont derogate from The fundamentals of peace and harmony Just so you dont derogate from the truth We remind you of content before form We remind you of this fundamental truth That content gives rise to form We remind you that the label Islam Does not cause the truth To derogate to a falsity We remind you that content Gives rise to form And not the other way round We remind you of spirit We remind you of walking the line We remind you of content before form We remind you of non-derogation From the fundamentals of truth We give you a religion Malaysia And we explain to you what that means (Oh, and by the way Religion for your peoples Means giving them a head But religion for a nation Dear Malaysia Means giving it a head) We do all of that for you Malaysia In this here Article 3 Since were on the topic of reminders After getting the basics in place We might as well remind you By stating the obvious Its not about whims and fancies This Constitution is to give you constitution To resist whims and fancies We say now hear it Malaysia We said in accordance with law We did not say in accordance with laws We did not say Malaysia In accordance with the law We said In accordance with law That does not mean Malaysia Parliaments whims and fancies It does not mean Simply majority It does not mean Summarily Yes Malaysia You can change all of this But you need two thirds of you To do it We remind you Malaysia That the key to preponderance In matters of constitutionality Is not a simple majority Two thirds of you Malaysia Is core giving rise to periphery We remind you of this truth Malaysia Periphery is the periphery Of a core We remind you of all of this Malaysia Through Article 4 Thats it Malaysia Thats all we have to say about you We speak next of your peoples And then of your institutions And then of their periphery Part I is done Malaysia We shall move on to II and III
