Dr. Marcus recently traveled to Dallas for the Intermediate and Advanced Interactive Course on MiniScrew Implants. Dr. Jason Cope taught the courses, he is an orthodontist with a Ph.D in bone physiology. His technique for placing bone screws allows us to move teeth distances and directions that previously were impossible. Taking the course will allow Dr. Marcus to place his own bone screws rather than refer patients out to other specialists. The advantage of this is more precise placement since an orthodontist knows the exact location that he wants. Good things to come in the future here at Marcus Orthodontics!
