Dr. Sanders said Rye definitely has an infection, BUT we caught it very quickly and he said he is going to admit Rye considering his recently nearly dying from an infection. Rye hasnt been on antibiotics in 4 weeks, so they can culture and identify the organism to wipe it out fast. Dr. Sanders also said Dr. Holland is on call here in Crowley and he is going to have him take a look at the foot. This is the foot that put him in the hospital May 5 with infection, but it wasnt open and draining gout then. Were looking at surgery this time. Rye made my day yesterday when I was in tears, exhausted from being awake and cleaning for more than 24 hours and he got up from his wheelchair and hugged me. Im leaving all of this at the feet of our Sweet Lord Jesus, Ryes health and my anger at those people who refused us help when asked, including the person I was working with b/c I need to let that go so I can focus on Rye and all my wonderful new clients that God gave me.
