Drakes been pretty stable all day. No major changes. Our families arrived last night between 1130 and 1AM. My parents brought AJ, and let me tell you, it is not easy explaining to a 6 year old that his brother may go to Heaven! Something no parent should ever do. His blood pressures have been decent, not up to where they need to be, but still decent. He did give us a scare earlier this morning, but he came out of it. Dialysis is still running 24 hours and they were able to start taking off the same amount of fluid off, as what they are giving him. And in the last couple of hours, they are taking an extra 10ML off too. They cant take too much as it could send his body into shock. We were told last night that Drake most likely would not make it through the night, with the way his blood pressures kept dropping. He is still here, he is fighting, and as long as he wants to fight, we will allow him to do so! We did make the decision though, that if God chooses to call him home, we will not interfere. If things start getting really bad with his blood pressures dropping, we decided that we will make the decision in that moment, to do whats best for Drake. Meaning continuing meds, or stopping. He knows we are here. He can hear us. We sit all day and hold his hand and talk to him. In return, he squeezes our hand back. He listened to lullabyes all day, and has been listening to the tv tonight. Hes a true fighter, and has touched so many lives. Its harx for us to imagine what life may be like without him, but we know God is in control, and if he is called home, he has several Angels waiting with open arms! But we are staying positive and we do believe in miracles!
