Drawing parallels between Tibet and Vietnam In Washington DC on July 6 to support the Vietnamese rally against Chinas expansionism and to protest the presence of a Chinese giant oil rig, HYSY 981, in Vietnamese waters. It was a powerful experience with over 2000 people from across the country in that 90+ degree heat. Plus we got to hang out with some very cool musicians backstage. It was a celebration of the Vietnamese tradition of heroic resistance against foreign aggression and calling on the world to condemn the Chinese blatant act which threatens the peace and stability of the region.
