#Dreams are rarely a sheer flight of fantasy; they always have their connection with the real. I perhaps can; but a person in abject state of deprivation in a highly under developed village in Odisha, can never see a messiah, like, say, Amitabh Bachchan, handing him a purse having five crores of rupees in a glittering function resembling Kaun Banega Corodpati. His dream has to be modest, in proportion to his persona. His best dream perhaps could be about a poor man getting a patta for a piece of land from a village functionary or getting a goat as gift from a politician in a function, for his economic emancipation. Rarely would his dream make him ride or drive a Ferrari. Wily politicians in some societies would even see to it that his dreams never become more than a pittance.
