Drove up to Everett with Abby and her friend Leah to see Demi Lovato. Had pizza, then went to Zippys Cafe for dessert. Zippy is a dalmatian that greets all the customers... Had an extra concert ticket because Mimi decided not to go. Great seats...on the floor, center, row 18, which was about 10 rows from the stage because of how it was arranged. Decided not to let the extra ticket go to waste... Walked up to the furthest nosebleed seats...the worst seats in the house... and looked around for a deserving recipient. Saw a young girl dancing up a storm. There with her mom and a friend. Offered the ticket and suggested they could take turns down on the floor Turns out it was the young ladys 13th birthday! She was excited, courteous, and appreciative. Good choice! As it turned out, there was an empty seat next to us, so I managed to bring her friend down too, (yes, a little ticket switcheroo trickery...for a good purpose though) Then after Demi came on and I watched a song just to feel like I got my moneys worth, I climbed to the top of the arena a 3rd time and handed my ticket to the mom and excused myself to the car to read a book... Demi is a good performer, but seeing the smiles on these folks faces was better. Banking up my karma just in case someone feels like giving me front row seats at Fleetwood Mac or Garth Brooks!!!
