Although this style of music might not have too much in common with metal/hardcore at first glance, we still think it’s a very modern, cool and influential music genre that has some similarities with our core style. Blending these styles is what we tried to do in ‘Testify’, love it or hate it. Call it dubcore or deathstep, mosh or dance, just keep your mind open. Lyrically this song was written after reading too many articles about bullying, trolling and other harassments getting out of hand, especially among kids at school or in their social life. The last decade social media have made it easier to harass and bring this bullshit in someone’s living room. When these harassments go so far that young and talented teenagers commit suicide it’s clear we have to put a stop to this. There are no excuses for disturbing and ruining other lives so quit that shit.
