Due to the fact I have a lot of close friends on here who are aware of whats been happening in my life this last 8 months, rather than reply to individuals I thought it might be easier to make this post At the beginning of the year my dad was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. After a very hard, long battle he passed away yesterday (11th August) at 2:45pm in Blackrock Hospice. Words cant describe my utter loss and sadness but I want to thank all the kind pms and texts I have received over the last while. The funeral of my dad Brendan Heapes, will take place on Monday 18th August at 11am, St Marys church Sandyford. No flowers, donations to the Blackrock Hospice would be appreciated. Thanks, Gerry
