Dunhams Sports Selects Marion, Ind. for Location of New Distribution Center...135 More Jobs Coming to Area. Dunhams Sports, the Troy, Mich.-based company will invest $30.1 million to construct and equip a 735,000 square-foot distribution facility on approximately 50 acres in Marion. The facility, which is expected to be complete in December and will allow the company to house all distribution operations at one location. According to a press release, Dunham’s will begin hiring new warehouse associates by the end of the year. The company is expected to employ as many as 135 in its distribution center by 2018, in addition to its current retail store located there. Marion Mayor Wayne Seybold said, Dunhams has been part of our economic development success for many years and we cannot be happier that Dunhams has choose Marion for their expansion. We are excited that Dunhams decision will keep them in Marion for many years. Doug Billingsley, vice president of logistics at Dunham’s Sports said, “Dunham’s Sports is pleased to be expanding our distribution center allowing us to meet the demand of our growing chain.
