If I had tuppence worth of clout Id be pouring the cheap stuff into the car but I know with my run of luck these days Id get caught cause lets face it, I do look dodgy enough and who in the name of jesus who made us wrote the guide book for learner drivers anyway? In order to pass your provisional you have to know the wheel arrangement of a Prairie Locomotive but did they mention that a car needs regular oil and water? I thought all Betsy (my last car) needed was petrol and fairy liquid for the wipers. They didnt mention any of the other shite in the handbook and I got 39 out of 40 in my test too - fat lot of good it did me when the engine blew up. But I digress. Yes I do. I was four when the price of milk went up... ha! Not that bitter! Only messing. So I fill the car with petrol - the legal stuff and trundle home with not a care in the world seeing only the good in others and just like when I was a kid and knew Id get into heaven if only I said my prayers right, I turn the other cheek on the events of the day as each moment is a new wonder and ... Oh no. Jaysus, ya looked in a fierce hurry there. Licence and registration please.
