During its modern history Syria has been harboring refugees from all over the world. In the past, a Syrian’s home has always been a non-Syrian’s safe haven. This is not out of kindness, but out of duty. Syria is merely welcoming back her lost people who migrated from the oldest settlement on earth, the wider Barada basin, within Syrian borders 9,000 years BC. Therefore, when Syrian land is harmed, not only Syrians’ dreams are being shattered, but non-Syrians’ futures are being stolen. Don’t let Syrians become strangers to their own country, because it will render in mankind becoming refugees to the soil of the earth. Syria is for all to share and accordingly for everyone to take care of.
