During my last physical my Dr asked me if I had ever considered doing the genetic testing that tells you if you have the gene that increases your chances of getting breast cancer. Now already know I have a huge chance of getting breast cancer because of my family history so I do everything I should be doing to watch for it. Mostly I had never really seriously thought about doing the test was because I always figured it was too expense. But also because do I really want to know? If it is positive do I want that hanging over my head that the chances are even stronger than I originally thought? Just curious what my friends think about it. Would you do it? Why or why not?
