During the Christmas and New Year period we received several new Hopeful Hearts cases, here is the first one from Nanjing: Meet Cheng Sipeng(成思鹏), a little boy aged 2 years. A beautiful boy born with a single atrium and single ventricle; Cheng received palliative surgery at 2 months old but requires further palliative surgery for Bi-direction operation/Pulmonary Artery Banding. Cheng Sipengs parents have sadly separated and the father no longer supports the family and Chengs mother is unable to fund further medical costs. Hopeful Hearts has supported this case and Cheng Sipeng has received further palliative surgery and remains in hospital recovering due to post-surgery effusion. Please pray for this little boy and his family, the future will be difficult for this family but we hope Hopeful Hearts has helped reduce the stress and burden just a little and this little boy receive some future happiness.
