During the process of evolution, our brains were formed in such a way as to make us prioritize the instincts of survival, dodging predators and avoiding being a prey, searching for food and so on and so forth. Our brains were not formed to make us understand astrophysics or quantum mechanics or atoms or genetics, these and other sciences are acquired knowledge that we had to learn and discover by urging our brains to function on a deeper level than that which we were left with when evolution and natural selection forged us. While we were still using our primitive brain we turned to metaphysics and mythology and witchcraft to answer the mystical natural phenomena that surround us but as we continue to discover new fields of science and poke new areas in our brains that we never knew existed, we ought to stay humble and remind ourselves how little we know and that even what we think we know is relatively true and that the truth, any truth, is variable.
