During the war of ideas between socialism and capitalism, socialism built walls. socialism tried to prevent her people from any interaction with capitalist ideas. whereas capitalist judge the ideas for yourself and then choose. the whole socialist societies were built on fear. today in this new war of ideas between Islam and secularism, secularism is building walls. it is legislating and putting in place such draconian laws, all over the world, that Stalin would say I never thought of that. Fearing discussions, demonizing ideas rather than arguing, these are the first signs of defeat of secularism.
