During this season, allow light to overcome every place of darkness in your life! Obstacles can produce an atmosphere of dark hopelessness in a persons life. Finding light at the end of the dark tunnel is the only way out for these people. What is the one step you may need to take toward the light in your dark tunnel? Take the one step you know to take. When you have done that, the next step will become visible. Step by step, you can walk toward the seemingly small light that is visible until you come out of your dark place. Darkness cannot overcome you. You have the Light that can overcome the darkness! President Dwight Eisenhower encouraged people to pursue the light of freedom. He is quoted as saying, May we, in our dealings with all people of the earth, ever speak the truth and serve justice. May the light of freedom, coming to all darkened lands, flame brightly - until at last the darkness is no more. Let the light that is in you become a flame of hope for the world.
