Dusty trails and barbwire For more than a year now, I have been part of the “Facebook fraternity,” reading some very sad stories accompanied by some very graphic and disturbing pictures as well as some very controversial and disturbing reports and endless debates pertaining to the current situation in South Africa. Everybody has an opinion, whether it is about the solution to the problems we face or the reason we are in this “Barbwire” situation. Some people fetch the cause of it all from the dusty trails of ox wagons crossing mountains and plains or even from the dust clouds and smoke that rose up from battles fought against overwhelming odds and memory of the women and children that shielded those odds in a desperate cowardly, yet brutal exercise to force a noble people into submission – the only way a mighty Empire could defeat a handful of trail hardy men who were merely defending their sovereignty......, the soil they righteously traded for and occupied. These “noble” people, are called the Boer Nation...., a Nation whose single most important goal, was to live free from British or European rule, a people who created their own language that became the first known indigenous language of Southern Africa and they called it Afrikaans, thus the referral to Afrikaners...., and now they are under threat once again. How big that threat is, appears to hinge on perceptions, depending on through whose eyes one scrutinize the broader picture. Since I became part of the “Facebook fraternity,” I have seen so many people searching for a solution, or any kind of resolve, while others seem to hover in a state of contentment or some kind of illusion, or rather delusion - it just breaks my heart. I have since joined several groups – been added and invited to so many more - and I have left some and was even kicked off a few during this past year, relentlessly searching for a common thread that could unite our torn apart nation, but the complexity of the Boer/Afrikaner people, our Barbwire society, is just too hard to figure out it seems....., we just do not seem to trust anyone, not even our own, not even when it really matters. That is why I wrote and posted the following piece: ‘To be or not to be......? Judging by policies and legislation prohibiting White South Africans from obtaining meaningful employment and the murder statistics relating to our White population, that indeed is the question. What do we do? Do we sit it out and wait for a strong leader or the tables to turn? Do we run for the hills? Immigrate and join our scattered compatriots abroad? Do we declare civil war? Or do we annex part of this country and create the much debated “Volkstaat” and what would we call it? The latter appears to be the better, less appealing option, as only a few people seem to seriously consider or support the idea, notwithstanding the fact that a place like Orania was founded more than twenty years ago. What is the ‘Broader Picture?’ First we must face reality. Since 1994, the South African “Democratic” Government seemed to have worked around the clock to turn around an “economic injustice” by implementing corrective measures that the rest of the world and a hell of a lot of our own people seem to approve of. Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and Employment Equity – that is what they call it – resulted in the White population being gradually taken out of the job market to be replaced by so called equally qualified Black people, some Coloureds/Indians and even some White woman too. A clever move if I have ever seen one. I mean, just look at what really happened. Our woman suddenly became eligible for jobs reserved for men only and suddenly the balance shifted, a lot of our men were identified as “redundant” and gradually retrenched – the result, a record amount of micro-businesses went up, a sudden decline in unemployment came about and our “Democracy” became a world-wide model to be envied….., but that was short-lived. Twenty years down the line finds us in a far different situation. Our ever-weakening economy and the gradual decline in efficiency in local, provincial and national government could not create a sustainable environment for all these micro businesses and suddenly we are faced with more than 850 000 Whites living in squatter camps, while some still cling feverishly to suburban life. What the hell happened? Why did nobody see this coming? The fact is, the “transition” was so perfectly engineered, that the majority of Whites still believe that nothing really changed. What they do not know or want to believe, is the fact that our “Government” has to keep as many affluent and highly skilled, taxpaying Whites in the market, for it is their tax contributions, that have to pave the way to make the complete transition possible. Should one carefully study official documentation drawn up by the SACP in the sixties and seventies, it becomes clear that everything was carefully planned decades ago…., but it appears that they did not plan for the period after final transition. Yet people find it hard to believe that the decline in service delivery over the past twenty years is all part of a grand scheme and that we can expect a total economic collapse, but when? Are we really going to sit around and wait for it to happen? A while back, a friend sent me a link to The SACP’s “Quarterly Report.” I read through the whole document that included their plans since their inception. I am not sure whether or not I was supposed to have it, so I saved it in a number of places. In that report it is stated clearly that “all whites should be neutralized and isolated” as soon as possible so that certain changes can be brought about unhindered. Their reports date back many years and suggest different tactics to achieve their goals - BBEEE, gun-control/disarmament, the abolishing of commandos and replacing key personnel in the SA Defense Force and the SAPD are just the beginning of a total weakening of the White morale. They make no distinction between conservatives or liberals and names the DA as a target which they planned to destroy from within - a very intelligent psychological approach to ensure that only blacks will eventually have any form of power. Once the Commando Corpse was disbanded, rightwing groups would pose no further threat and they could disarm private gun owners under the pretence that violent crime has to be subdued. Sadly, part of their report was drawn up by white people (the name Fourie was one of them). They also refer to neutralizing the NNP as one of their successes as well as how the DA would follow the same route as the ANC. Their aim is to gradually have them transform so that their policies eventually are perfectly aligned with the ANCs and can be absorbed into the ANC when the time comes. The ANC is a huge curtain behind which the true agenda hides. I have read a casual remark somewhere that was made sometime during the eighties – it explained how Whites are accustomed to seeing and hearing bad news on TV and radio and that events after the unbanning of the ANC, SACP, PAC etcetera, would cause very little panic among Whites, as the media (TV) and corruption would be used to lure them into submission. I cannot remember who said that, but they were talking about changing the face of TV and abolishing censorship and how the Afrikaner mind will be captured by guilt and lust. If you think it is ludicrous, think again and try to remember where we came from and how life was before – remember how “Body Beat” was one of the more “daring” shows on TV? Our Government’s boldness these past few months is evidence enough that they do not expect any resistance or mass exodus of “valuable assets” any time soon. We are being played and lead like lambs to the slaughter, yet we remain complacent. Just before the first “Democratic elections,” thousands upon thousands of blacks were bused in to swing the vote in the Western Cape. Since then, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have settled across the country in informal settlements and squatter camps “sprung” up like mushrooms all over the country, where once there was nothing, vast areas of informal settlements came to be and our black population more than doubled – and if you believe the census figures you are probably living in a void.... To accommodate these people, our Government is using our taxes, knowing that we would not object too much, as the liberal world would crucify us. Suddenly we are the crime capital in the world and our death toll (Whites only) surpasses even that of any of the war torn countries of the world. How do they get away with it and how do they convince the liberal minded, human rights activists and subsequent social blunders that everything is just “hunky dory?” It is easy, they just refer to the White suburban lifestyle in SA and show the world the thousands upon thousands of squatter dwellings out there and all is forgotten....., and any murder appears to be justifiable. Why? Should we feel guilty? Unfortunately there are quite a number of people (Black and White) that think we should – well, that is the basis for the SACP’s agenda. Someone recently mentioned that: “You were elitist and morally void - purposefully withholding the advancement of the blacks. Im not saying that we whites were obliged to train them, but it was the humane thing to do,” and “I never did suggest that the education that was delivered to the blacks was inferior... it was however delivered in the tongue of the Afrikaans people, which set them at a disadvantage... this in my opinion was a deliberate act of sabotage to their learning... I for one have witnessed that Afrikaans pupils struggle and fail when forced to learn in a foreign tongue.” The fact is, recent independent studies showed that the numbers of Black middle and upper class now officially surpasses that of Whites and they are still educated in a “foreign” tongue. Fact is, lazy learners the world over constantly struggle as a result of that and only the few who rise above that, really excel and reach higher goals. The SACP acknowledged that in their reports and mentions the NP government’s foolish endeavor to provide their comrades with valuable education, naming various prominent leaders among themselves. They clearly mention rioting against the educational system as a ruse to incorporate the youth in their armed struggle and to gain worldwide sympathy for their cause. Some prominent liberal media personalities were recruited for this purpose.” (Edited) All of that brings us closer to understanding the socio-economic problems that firstly contributed to the more or less 850 000 White people ending up in White squatter camps or similar living conditions across the country. However, since very little or no formal research has yet been concluded to implement any kind of formal resolve specifically pertaining to the current problem, it is safe to say that nothing or very little that is currently done to improve the situation is effective in any way. However, it has been said that “Well-defined, orderly thought processes reduce observational biases, resist premature conclusions and leave open the possibility of alternative solutions,” (Social Work Research and Evaluation – Third Edition, Richard M. Grinnell, Jr.). It is also said that “Problem solving thinking primarily has five phases: 1. Recognition of a difficulty; 2. Definition or specification of that difficulty; 3. Generation of suggestions for possible solutions and rational exploration of the ideas; 4. Selection of an optimal solution from among many proposals; and 5. Implementation of the solution.” Currently several organizations (NPO’s) have some or other program that successfully addresses the problem, but they are far too few and their resources are limited. These organizations all have one thing in common; they followed the above steps and did the necessary exercises to ascertain the correct program that is to be followed in order to successfully address the problem on a grand scale. Some of these organizations are run as missionaries while others are simply run as general Social-Welfare centers. While most of these organizations or institutes are open to all races, it is mostly used by White people – the reason for that is not important at this stage, but this phenomenon is the main reason government has reduced their support to these organizations to the bare minimum (Driven by BBEEE and AA quotas). The principles they all follow are more or less similar to that of the Kibbutz’s in Israel, with the emphasis on a proper support by qualified Social Workers and other relevant assistance and as expected, their success rate is extremely high. However, they do not have the capacity to address the overall problem on their own and some lack the proper set of skills required to address most social problems. In the mean time our people are exploited by unscrupulous community leaders and well doers who are effectively keeping them chained to their dire circumstances. They are held hostage by ineffective support and racist policies – and in a way, the same applies to Black squatters of whom the recipients of government’s social grants are the best examples. They are effectively kept in “potholes” of poverty and are lifelong dependents of social grants and handouts – an extremely valuable source of votes, come election time (another of the SACP’s long term plans). People in this category hardly ever have the means to better education and often are malnourished and under-developed in every way, yet they are illegible to vote and are easily manipulated – and they are the masses…. Forcing White people into this category has many advantages, according to the SACP. It will not be long before these Whites would receive handouts from Black people and then be obliged to vote for whoever feeds them…., and that is why our government has passed policies that prohibits any social assistance to Whites – another reason why affluent White taxpayers are so important. How do we counter or respond to this and what is the solution? We create a “Volkstaat” and establish a sustainable economy for ourselves. How do we do that? Well, it is not that difficult. I have been around the block a few times and have seen so many innovative measures taken to ensure blissful Afrikaner privacy and happy, peaceful holidays at several locations all over the Western Cape and I realized that there is a solution to our BBEEE and EE problems. I call it “Volkspele Klubs,” for a temporary lack of imagination..., so it is open for debate. Now, if you see this as another racist move by White people, I congratulate you on your astounding ability of discernment and labeling people and invite you to prove to me that exclusivity is a right only Black people deserve. So, where do we start? Several historic parts of the country has already been identified and included in recent land claims efforts. However, a large piece of land that includes very few Black people have been identified and earmarked for a future “Volkstaat.” How do we become part of it? Well, you just join the group “Bedoelde Land” or ORANJE BLANJE BLOU and we will help you get there. First we are in the process of legally registering a trust called BOERE/AFRIKANER KIBBUTZ TRUST. The trustees will comprise of people with the correct professional skills to effectively manage every aspect of proper and successful social development. Then we plan to raise funds to purchase a farm in an area where several families (500+) can make a sustainable living. We aim to build a community centre that can serve as a church, clinic, regulating office, school, communal kitchen/cafeteria and community hall as well as several ablution facilities and a storage facility for food supplies (perhaps underground). Then we erect temporary housing/sleeping quarters to accommodate as many people as possible and surround the compound with security bunkers. The sequence of events may not be as depicted here, but we are sure that if we start off with people with the right skills, we can have a large piece of land cultivated in a very short time, especially if we can raise enough funds initially to set up a few tunnels to grow our first crops. Several people have already approached us to set up factories that will only train and employ White labour. Once we are settled in and each family can survive independently, we aim to allocate plots where each family can build their own homes. That home would be regarded as your property for as long as you make a valuable contribution to the social and economic welfare of the community. Every household will participate in a compulsory savings scheme to enable those families to settle elsewhere if and when the need arises, provided that a minimum period of residence has passed – that will be determined once we have done the necessary viability studies and calculations. Every household should be economically empowered to move on, should they wish to do so. To achieve the above, we will need as much input and expertise as possible. Nothing is cast in stone yet, but the basic idea of establishing an Israeli-style Kibbutz is. We already have some valuable experts on board and hope that as many of you as possible will see the wisdom of doing this. The writing is on the wall and we cannot ignore it any longer or afford to waste any more time.’ The Barbwire society A while ago, I responded to another post/comment with the following: “I have done some research for my book and on working through the data I gathered, I saw some very disturbing facts about our people. (I have asked the help of a few close friends who are eager to see my book published.) These facts are: 1) A very large group of Whites believe that some of us are blowing things out of proportion and that the violence we claim to be directed at Whites is our imagination. 2) An even larger group says they realize that there is some level of animosity towards Whites in this country, but they believe that we deserve it and that time will heal all wounds. 3) The majority responses we gathered indicates that we should give the blacks time to sort out their issues and that a White presence in this country and internationally will prevent things getting out of hand. 4) A very small group appears to support White self-governance. 5) A lot of people did not want to get involved in politics or racist agendas...., and the list goes on. However, the data we gathered differed from region to region and we even came upon areas and towns where people knew nothing of the violence we talked about and thought that we were far-right propagandists. We are more than 4 600 000 whites in this country and I have evidence that our last census grossly lacked proper execution - I believe we are far more than anybody wish to admit. Then there is the amount of registered white voters compared to the actual amount of white votes in the last election and if you compare that with the estimated amount of whites illegible to actually vote, one can only conclude that most whites just do not care or are too comfy in their luxurious surroundings. I challenged the information my friends gave me by walking from door to door with a questionnaire and the results after visiting 2000 households were: a) 623 of these people said they are not interested. b) 566 people agreed with what I had to say, but believed that things may get better. c) 374 people said it doesnt matter, since they aim to immigrate at some point, but first wanted to see how things develop here. d) 189 people called my research racist. e) 204 people said that we are causing unnecessary tension and panic and that I should get a life. f) 44 people said they are already taking precautions and belong to a support network that will rise up when the paw-paw hits the fan. Out of all these people only four said they would gladly join a rally against the issues we address. The rest said no and more than two thirds said that white people do not act that way. A lot of people asked me if I am serious. Strangely, most of these people thought that crime is under control, considering our demographics” I have since conducted interviews with mostly farmers from different regions in the country that belong to a forum I may not mention here. One of these farmers recently challenged me with the following response to my inquiry about the safety of our farmers and the murders country wide and whether or not a Kibbutz system would work as a counter measure: “I have learned that if I were to succeed as a farmer, I would have to learn the language of the people who work for me. On accomplishing that, we understand and respect each other now more than ever before and I am happy to say, I have no problems with any of my Black employees since. I have also implemented a profit-sharing scheme that benefits both me and my workers. The only people I have any problems with now, are my own people stealing truck loads of cattle from my farm near Standerton. I have not had one theft by any Black people for a very long time now. Some of my White neighbours ask me how I manage to be so successful even though I do not live on the farm myself. (I live and work on a farm outside Stellenbosch) Well, I just tell them that I have a good relationship with my workers as well as other Black people in that area. One of my neighbours is a Black man, a Zulu and he is a very successful farmer. All of the other farmers in that area, including myself have helped him to be independent and successful. We are a close-knit community and we have each other’s backs, whenever we are faced by any trouble...., and then I want to make it clear that the only real trouble we have, is runaway fires and White cattle thieves. The only times any black person stole from us, was when a farmer refused to properly reward workers for the valuable work they do or when workers go hungry and slaughtered a calf to eat. As for the farmers being murdered: I happen to know that Black farmers who are in good stead with their White neighbours, are also targeted, as they are seen as traitors and informants. I know of a Black farmer and his wife that was murdered recently, because they informed the police on the whereabouts of a gang of trouble makers in their area.” I asked him how he felt about employing some of the White people in the squatter camps. Although he is fully aware of the magnitude of the problem, he rolled his eyes and asked me if I was serious. Although he sympathises with them, he admitted that he never gives it any other thought and had this to say: “Every year hundreds and hundreds of students study agriculture, yet very few of them end up on farms, as farming is something that you really need to want to do. Most graduates never make it on a farm and end up being employed elsewhere. Why would any farmer then risk taking on someone who knows nothing about farm life and who probably has no love for the rugged environment, if there is an abundance of Agricultural students who probably may end up unemployed anyway? How many of those people would work the hours that we do and prove themselves worthy? First get these people to work at it at your Kibbutz, so we can select dedicated workers from there. Most of the farmers I know support your idea, as we recognise the fact that a Kibbutz can provide valuable training and at the same time separate the chaff from the wheat.” I asked him about the situation pertaining to Government’s talks about land restitution recently. He responded with: “The Transvaal Agricultural Union (TLU) has had extensive talks with Government and assured us that it shall not happen. If we implement a profit-sharing approach, we would not lose any of our land. I have been doing that for a couple of years now and all of my workers are very happy and would defend my farm with their lives. I am returning to my farm permanently soon and am looking forward to work shoulder to shoulder with my Black compatriots.” He seemed sure of himself and I did not push the issue any further. I just hope for his sake that it is not another soothing tactic by Government to eliminate any future resistance. I just then realised that it all depends on through whose eyes one looks at our situation. Talk about diversity....., then there are the 11 official languages and the people referring to Black education during “Apartheid” may have a point, but then again, “When in Rome......” And then the Pope tells us that the Tower of Babel never happened...., yet South Africa boasts 11 official languages. Fact is, we do have an extremely frustrating language barrier to contend with and history has already proved over and over that such barriers are a recipe for disaster. Could we have educated Blacks in any of their languages? As far as I can remember, none of their languages ever possessed the vocabulary for that. Did we do enough? I should think so – we did create another language to accommodate them and called it Fanakalo......, but did it work? I am not a linguist, so I am not at liberty to say, but it seems to have helped hundreds of thousands of black mine workers as well as the White people that also work there...., and we should feel guilty? I think not.... Is Unity among Whites in SA possible? I for one believe it is. The more our government loses control of its various departments and the more people are murdered just because of their skin colour and the sooner we, the Boer/Afrikaner people, realize that our division would always be our downfall and that our enemies have “played” us because of that, the sooner we shall prevail as one nation. For twenty years now we have faced the one controversial announcement after the other and our emotions fluctuated as often as that, while the imminent threat to destroy or eliminate us has never let up. The ANC and EFF are growing by the day and we are complacent at our best. One of the main reasons we do not stand together yet, is the fact that we are effectively being played while the enemy is gnawing away at our spirit. It is time now to make a decision, to make a life...., and to live God again. We can start with 16 December 2014 by commemorating “Gelofte Dag”/Day of the Vow.
