The candidate must be in possession of an appropriate Bechalor’s degree or equivalent qualification supported by at least 4 years’ relevant experience. Registration as Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor and/or moderator. Solid knowledge of labour laws is essential and proven record in dealing with labour unions. Proven record of interactions with senior management. Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Ensure the proper delivery of planned legislated and non-legislated training within set timelines. Implement supervisory and management development programs. Conduct training needs analysis for the business unit. Source and manage training solutions and practices. Ensure alignment of development plans with strategic training plans. Manage provision of employee study financing Implement learnership programs as per management plan. Manage relationship with relevant SETAs and related statutory bodies. Implement national skills development strategy. Ensure creation and evaluation of individual development plan for all employees. Ensure development of accurate workplace skills plan report and timeous submission thereof to relevant internal and/or government authority. Manage the overall training and development budget.
