EAST WENATCHEE — A person who saw a suspicious person early Saturday morning may have helped solve a case that involves the puncturing or slashing of tires on 43 vehicles in East Wenatchee. The person saw someone leaning against a car, then saw the tire deflating, said Dan Reierson, assistant police chief. The person called the RiverCom dispatch center, and officers arrested two East Wenatchee men on suspicion of first-degree malicious mischief. They are Michael P. Aspen, 21; and Shaun D. Moore, 22. Both were located by officers in the area of the tire slashing. Reierson said tires were slashed from the 800 to the 1500 blocks of North Baker Street, and other nearby areas.
