EBOLA: United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon praised the response to Ebola in Liberia but cautioned against complacency noting the need for continued vigilance, more robust contact tracing, and greater preparedness at district levels. Ban made the comments while addressing government officials, dignitaries and the media at the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on December 19, during a two-day tour of Ebola outbreak affected countries including Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
