Coughing and sneezing It can live outside the body for very short periods--which means that if someone touches their mouth or eye or asshole and then touches your mouth or eye or asshole, you can get infected. But touching a surface they have touched is not a mode of transmission. Ive been reading about Ebola for 12 years--I would say that I am as informed as any person who is not a virologist working directly with the virus in a BSL 4 hot zone. Its a non-fiction documentary of Ebola outbreaks in the late 80s in Africa and the US very factual an informative I read it 12 years ago and got interested in Ebola because of it Do I think it will spread all over the US and kill 60% of us? No. Wont happen.
