EDGAR LUNGU IS ACTING PRESIDENT THIS morning President Michael Sata, when leaving for South Africa, appointed Defence Minister Edgar Lungu as Acting President of the Republic of Zambia. Sata has travelled to visit his son, Kazimu, who is admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Johannesburgs Milpark Hospital. Kazimu was involved in a road traffic accident last Wednesday. President Sata is expected back in the country tonight.
